Rain

Some days I find the rain relaxing. Other days I find it emotional. Here is a Tanka Poem with a 5-7-5-7-7 syllable count (hope I did it right!). Tanka Poems are usually about nature, seasons, love, sadness or other strong emotions.

Rain

The rain falls- splish, splash.

Droplets can disguise the tears.

Rain, rain, oh please, stay.

Hide my fears another day.

I am not ready to play.
